I have been compiling code for days and have a great installation of
gnome2 and KDE3 and the X application that I use.
Some packages show as being outdated and I do not want to do another
update-all.
To update the individual packages that are outdated (as the is no update
package) do I:
1. Install
2. Reinstall
3. Remove followed by install
4. Fetch
(I am using FinkCommander by the way and am building from source)
eg:
status name installed binary unstable summary
outdated xchat 1.8.10-4 1.8.10-4 2.0.0-3 Graphical IRC client
Thanks
Gary
