When I try to execute a command from a program I just installed with FinkCommander, I get a "Command not found" message.

For example, I downloaded ddd, and it opens properly when I execute it directly from within /sw/bin/ . When I'm in another directory, though, and I type "ddd", I get the message "ddd: Command not found.". I looked in my .cshrc file, and it contains the line "source /sw/bin/init.csh" (followed by 2 newlines) like it's supposed to. The file /sw/bin/init.csh exists and contains a bunch of stuff I don't understand.

I'm using "X11 for Mac OS X" and Mac OS X 10.2.4. I tried to execute ddd from an X11 xterm window. I used the Fink 0.5.1 Binary Installer, and then installed FinkCommander is 0.5.0 (binary). The problem persists if I log out and back in.

BTW, I've been using UNIX for less than 2 months.

Thanks,
David A
