Awhile ago I installed Apple's X11. Consequently, I was instructed to install system-xfreee86 and remove xfree86-base. I'm not quite sure why, but I still have xfree86-rootless and xfree86-rootless-threaded-shlibs installed. (Should I keep them?)

In any event, I have an old version of libxine installed. I can't remove it because of dependencies and when I try to update it, Fink Commander instructs me to reinstall some of the xfree86 packages.

I'd like to know exactly which of these I should or should not have installed and how I can get around this conundrum.

Thanks.
