With XFree86 4.3, you can use GTK+2.2 packages in experimental tree of the Fink's CVS. To use them, checkout experimental/msek/gnome2 and copy glib2-2.2.*, pango1-1.2.* atk1-1.2.* and gtk+2-2.2.* into your Fink's package tree (/sw/fink/dist/local/main/finkinfo).

I'm aware of that these packages are needed for XFree86 4.3, but they can be built only with XFree86 4.3 and causes problem if user is still using XFree86 4.2. I'm thinking how to solve this problem.

Sorry for inconvenience,

Apparently this package also falls victim to the newness of Xfree86 4.3, which doesn't allow pango1 to be built because it does not contain XFT1 headers.
