You might try Camino (formerly Chimera) -- that browser seems to resume ok, provided you haven't logged out in the meantime. It's at

Anyone know where I can FTP (not HTTP) the ooo101darwinfinalbeta.dmg.gz file? My browswers keep choking before they reach the end of the 100Mb file... My ftp client can resume, but not my browsers...
