I installed Fink on a G4 Quicksilver running 10.2.4 several months ago. It worked as advertised. In the meantime I didn't use it for a while, and now it no longer works. I don't have an accurate record of changes I've made on this Mac so I'm unsure of what may have broken it. What I do have is a list of the errors that I get when I try to get fink updates, which are:
fink list
dyld: perl Undefined symbols: _Perl_safefree _Perl_safemalloc _Perl_saferealloc _Perl_sv_2pv _Perl_call_sv _Perl_eval_sv _Perl_get_sv Trace/BPT trap
It looks to me like I've deleted or moved some critical Perl module. Any ideas?
On your last machine (or this one?) you probably updated to perl 5.8.0, which is binary incompatible with perl modules built against perl 5.6.0.
