I have 10.2.4, updated to December developer tools and have installed...
most recent X11. Have had consistent problem with ncurses and some
others that I can't solve with the FAQ. here is the tail of the log

Check for a libgcc.dylib or something similar in /usr/local/lib -- I seem to recall this happening before to some people who had that hack installed.
