[Fink-beginners] Problems running AxY FTP

After starting AxY FTP in the xterm window of Apple's X11, I cannot 
connect to any ftp host. The program shows the message 'Atempt 0 
failed' and, following the message 'Atempt 1 failed' a long list of the 
messages below appear in the xterm window:

GLib-WARNING **: g_main_iterate(): main loop already active in another

GLib-WARNING **: g_main_iterate(): main loop already active in another

GLib-WARNING **: g_main_iter
GLib-WARNING (recursed) **: g_main_iterate(): main loop already active 
in another thread
aborting...
Abort

AxY FTP then crashes. Any idea of what may be wrong? Thanks.
