My apologies
in advance and there will be no recrimination if you all ignore this.
As a naive black-box eMac user, OS10.2.6, I was invited to join a hub
where everyone uses D++. I am advised that I can achieve Direct
Connection through dcgui-qt but, that to do so, I need to use fink.
This was my best shot at achieving installation after reading through
as much of the fink documentation as I could understand.
[David-Marshalls-Computer:~] davidmar% sudo update
/Users/davidmar/Desktop/dcgui-qt [David-Marshalls-Computer:~]
davidmar% sudo install /Users/davidmar/Desktop/dcgui-qt usage: install
[-bCcpSsv] [-B suffix] [-f flags] [-g group] [-m
mode] [-o owner] file1
file2 install [-bCcpSsv] [-B
suffix] [-f flags] [-g group] [-m
mode] [-o owner] file1 ... fileN
directory install -d [-v]
[-g group] [-m mode] [-o owner] directory ... Unfortunately, I have no
idea what, if anything this did, nor what else is required to get the
application to work. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance
David
