You have libraries in /usr/local/lib that are interfering with the build
process. You can temporarily rename /usr/local to something else (e.g.
/usr/local.moved) , and try the build again.

Subject: [Fink-beginners] Compile Error with bundle-gnome

Hi All,

I've been unsuccessful in trying to install a great many of the X11
apps and don't know why. Specifically, I've been unable to install the
bundle-gnome package and keep getting the following error:

Writing a gdk-pixbuf.loader file to use when running examples before
installing gdk-pixbuf.

/sw/lib/libiconv.2.dylib (compatibility version of user: 4.0.0 greater
than library's version: 3.0.0)

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks!

John
