jamie, When you enter 'echo $PATH' from the command line, what is the output?

...I get:
[host100-null:~/puredataDev/Gem] tigital% echo $PATH
/sw/share/Geomview/bin:/sw/bin:/sw/sbin:/usr/local/pd/bin:/bin:/sbin:/ usr/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/X11R6/bin
The path /sw/bin is there,, so ??? Try a logout and login, then try.
Mac.com and other hosts have been getting really hammered by spam. Three or four times this month it was brought to a halt for a couple of hours.
...I fixed the problem sunday (as you can see)...but the weird thing is that emails from this weekend keeping bouncing around the list...
