I am trying to install g77 Fortran on a Mac OSX 10.2.6 system. The version included in the fink package did not install because of a "cc" error. Your FAQ file says the fix is to install the Developer Tools from CD...but I don't have this CD. What do I do now?
Also, I tried a later source (g77-0.5.23) obtained from a University of Montreal site...hoping it was binary since I have no desire at present to work at the source level. I followed the FAQ instructions and used "sudo mv" to place the files in the /sw/src/ directory. I can see them there...but fink doesn't find them when I do a "list" or "install".
