I assume that when you used "fink install ncurses" that you got a message that there was nothing to install. Is this correct?

What this looks like is that somehow things are linked to the system's ncurses (hence
/usr/lib/ncurses.5.dylib) instead of that in the fink package.

Hi All,

I've been getting this error message from various packages I've installed. Does anyone know what it means and how I can fix it? I've tried fink -remove ncurse and fink -install ncurses to "bang the jukebox", but without luck. The error:

dyld: mysql version mismatch for library: /usr/lib/libncurses.5.dylib (compatibility version of user: 6.0.0 greater than library's version: 5.0.0)

I get the same error when trying to run emacs or when I run fink list 'xxx'.

Thanks!
