O.K. I am one step closer to be able to install scribus but I think
there is a bug in the fink .info file or somewhere else when I am
interpret this message correctly:
The following package will be installed or updated:
 scribus
wget --verbose --passive-ftp
http://web2.altmuehlnet.de/fschmid/scribus-1.0RC1.tar.gz
--12:50:29--
http://web2.altmuehlnet.de/fschmid/scribus-1.0RC1.tar.gz
           => `scribus-1.0RC1.tar.gz'
Resolving web2.altmuehlnet.de... done.

12:50:30 ERROR 404: Not Found.

### execution of wget failed, exit code 1
Downloading the file "scribus-1.0RC1.tar.gz" failed.

(1) Give up
(2) Retry the same mirror
(3) Retry using next mirror set "master"

I understand the message that way that fink tries to download the
file scribus-1.0RC1.tar.gz and afterwards will try to install it
but this fails cause there is not "scribus-1.0RC1.tar.gz" file on
this mirror and on no other mirror, believe me I have tried the
option 3 too, since the latest version of scribus is
scribus-1.0.tar.gz and the other file isn't avaible any longer.
Could someone please verify this and change the .info file or any
other file where the information about the package is set.

I already have tried to compile scribus 1.0 by myself but I always
get these error messages:
[Maverics-Computer:~/scribus-1.0] erichoch% ./configure
--prefix=/sw/bin --libdir=/sw/lib --includedir=/sw/include
--with-qt-dir=/sw/bin --with-qt-includes=/sw/includes

Any ideas about this?

Eric
