About tho days ago, I complained about the dead about my ibooks monitor. I thought the quality of the hardware must be bad... But, perhaps, the hardware isn't to blame. There are 2 things I did not mention in my mail. First: I live in Thailand. And then: It was raining, there was thunder and lightnings, and I was connected to the internet, when my monitor died. And as I recenly told about this to a Thai friend, she told me that her computer had also been damaged because she had been using internet while there were thunder and lightenings... She told me, her phone had been damaged to, and that when she called the phone company to complain, she was told that when the weather conditions are like this, it is her responsability to disconnect the phone!
Is using a phone line when there is thunder dangerous in other countries? Did you ever hear of this? ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email sponsored by: Free pre-built ASP.NET sites including Data Reports, E-commerce, Portals, and Forums are available now.
