I recently told how my ibook's monitor died because of lightning while I was connected to the internet throught the built-in modem. I posted a message about the same problem to another mailing-list, and one person replied that, he had read somewhere Apple itself had admited there is a problem with some model's modems. Has anyone heard about this?
