XDarwin aka Xfree86.org Version 4.3.0 It's totaly free and you have everything you need. Apple's X11 is nice sure, but the nice quarz-windowmanager and other stuff comes only with Panther and so you have to buy a new OS in order to get what you can get for free when using Xfree86.org X11. Sure the other windowmanager may not look that nice and may not be totaly maclike in usability but they are highly customable and best of all avaible in a large number and variations that you surely find the one that fits your needs the most. So go and get Xfree86.org via fink and have fun. But best is you test both. Go and install Apple's X11 plus X11 SDK and see how it fits your daily needs and then uninstall it, install Xfree86.org 4.3.0 , and again use it productivitly and if you don't miss a thing, then stick with it otherwise you can go back to Apple's X11 For me there was no choice since international keyboard support still isn't that good with Apple's X11 and as a german native it's sometimes really hard to live without the special characters of the german language.
