During an "update all," compilation of g77 bombs out. Below are the last so many message lines listed:

I have tried reinstalling and force removing g77 and installing from scratch, but the same make errors come up. I've searched the FAQs and archives, but haven't found a similar error.
I'd appreciate any help. Trying how to learn these problems myself, but it's slow going for creative types like me....
