Hi! Most likely this is the wrong place for this question. For that i apologize, but just the same here is the question.
I have a sourceforge project i want to make and install. The prerequisits to doing this is to have libtool 1.4.3 installed on my Mac OS X 10.2.8 system. I think I have 1.4.2. installed after reviewing the /usr/share/libtool/ltmain.sh file as follows. # Constants. PROGRAM=ltmain.sh PACKAGE=libtool VERSION=1.4.2 TIMESTAMP=" (1.4 2001/11/19 00:06:02)" So what I did was that I installed libtool14 with FinkCommander. Then I read the documentation of libtool (http://fink.sourceforge.net/doc/porting/libtool.php). But I can not the following. 1) Do I have to apply any of the listed 'patches' after installing, in order to conform to the prerequisits above. 2) Is is sufficient to just install libtool14 to use the new libtool when I compile my sourceforge project. To summarize, my main objective is to get libtool 1.4.3 and how do I do that for Mac OS X and have I actually done it? /Thanks Thomas Lindbom :-) Hstrusk och gr moln - kp en resa till solen p Yahoo!
