...I've got an application that uses the libguile16, and it works fine on my machine...but when I try it out on another machine without the fink installed libguile, I get complaints that it can't load the dynamic lib version of guile? I find this puzzling because I am only linking to libguile.a, which works when linking staticly against other libraries...
...any one know a way around this? I'd rather not require people to install libraries with this particular program...

ps: also, does anyone know if it's safe to use gcc3.3 yet? I've been putting off for sooo long...
