Where is this August updater...?
Go to the Apple Developer connection's MacOSX section, http://developer.apple.com/macosx/. Log in (if you're not a member, use the "Not a Member?" button to become a member, it's free.) After login, go to Download Software > Developer Tools, where you'll find the August 2003 gcc Updater.
