This probably should be an FAQ question since there have been so many people talking about it, but so far I have not been able to find the answer or a working solution. The print option is missing from the Gimp File menu. Where'd it go? How does one get it back?

So far, I've tried installing GIMP-print directly from their website. It works, but gimp still does not have a print option. Presumably some interaction problem with the /sw installation and where ever GIMP-print decided to go. There does not seem to be a Fink package for gimp-print... messages from around June discuss system-gimpprint and gimp-gimpprint, but neither exist in the current version of fink, or at least, apt-get does not find them.

I'm running OS X 10.2 (10.3 is in the mail somewhere.)

Just installed Fink yesterday, so it's pretty fresh... The apt source list is appended. Presumably its a stock installation, since I haven't changed it.

At any rate, excellent work all around. I just got my first Mac on Friday, and getting it to run my Linux graphics pipeline would be huge. Presently, I just need it to print PNG images while respecting the DPI settings on the image. If anyone knows a quick solution for _that_, I'm all ears... I'll see what I can do with command line png-to-pnm-to-ps or something similar.

Thanks a lot, and great work!
