Hello,
I want to install system-xfree86, but it does not
appear on the list of packages produced by fink list.
You don't say what version of fink you are running. If it is a recent version, you don't need to install system-xfree86, it is there all by its own, under the condition that you have a complete X11 installation including the X11 SDK.
I tried running Update in dselect and get a pile of 404 errors:
Err http://us.dl.sourceforge.net release/mainPT
What's this "mainPT" and so on? Your /sw/etc/apt/sources.list file seems to be corrupt. Did you edit it and accidentally split the first line or something?
