I launched Xdarwin and changed the character set for french, then quitted and reopened Xdarwin. I tried to add a path to xdarwin preferences (startup panel) after a ":" but when I type any text it is written in twm windows, not in the preference panel. Anything to do?
In an old macworld, they advise to install windowmaker and oroborosx. Can it create any problem or are there better advices nowadays, considering my previous installs : I am on a G4/2*500Mhz, macosx 10.2.8.1 Dec 2002 apple developper tools, with august 2003gccupdate (gcc3.3) I installed Fink 0.6.1, upgraded to 0.6.2 I installed xfree86-base-threaded xfree86-rootless-threaded and shlibs I did not donload apple's x11 and did not installed system-xfree86 Thank you again Yves ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.
