Whenever opening Terminal or a new Terminal window, it automatically runs ls: exit
which of course, prints the contents of my home directory, then attempts to exit resulting in
[Process completed]
hence, Terminal is basically useless - the only way to run a command is to go File > New Command...
(running 10.3.1 with bash (default shell))
