Hi all,

I just installed FINK from scratch (0.6.2) and then requested to see the
virtual packages using the command "fink-virtual-pkgs"

I got the following:

Package: system-xfree86
Status: install ok installed
Version: 2:4.3-1
provides: x11-shlibs, libgl, libgl-shlibs, xft1-shlibs, xft2-shlibs, rman,
fontconfig1-shlibs, xfree86-base-threaded-shlibs
description: [placeholder for user installed x11]

OK, I am confused, I have not installed it!!!!!! What is going on?
When I asked FINK to remove using
"sudo dpkg --remove --force-depends system-xfree86"
it it shows the following:
dpkg - warning: ignoring request to remove system-xfree86 which isn't
installed.

I went to see my other computer (an old G4) and "system-xfree86"
is not part of the virtual packages.

All the computers are running 10.3.1 including the Xtools, X11 etc.

Any help is appreciated.
