[Fink-beginners] doxygen compile failure ....

This is an old problem, still here with Panther.  doxygen won' compile 
for me if both CPUs of my dual cpu G4 are running. The compilation 
stops here ...

.....
c++ -c -pipe -D__FreeBSD__ -Wall -W -O2 -I/sw/include -I../qtools 
-I../libpng -o ../objects/language.o language.cpp

 and waits a very long time, then crashes

With the 2nd CPU off, it waits an even longer time, but continues to 
complete the job.

Later on, somewhere, there are hundreds of messages like...

...
Underfull \hbox (badness 10000) in paragraph at lines 1308--1308
...
Any clue as to what this is?
