What problems will I run into if automake and guile info can't be gotten from an rsync self update? See the errors I get when using the Fink Commander version of Self Update:
Updating stable/main
rsync -az --delete-after -q 'rsync://master.us.finkmirrors.net/finkinfo/10.2-gcc3.3/stable/main/ finkinfo' '/sw/fink/10.2-gcc3.3/stable/main/'

It seems you are using rsyncX (aka rsync-hfs) under the name of rsync. This is a bad idea that can give you a lot of trouble. Move it out of the way.

Yes! That is correct. I had been using rsyncX to backup to a local drive, but now use Carbon Copy Cloner and psync. I made a symbolic link to rsync v2.5.2 and tried again. This time I was able to get the files. Thanks for the quick help.
