Same thing from opening XDarwin.
This is from as clean an installation as I can make:
122 18:04 sudo rm -rf /etc/X11 /usr/X11R6 /sw /Volumes/UserPartition/sw /Applications/XDarwin.app/
(here is where I installed fink 0.6.2 on /Volumes/UserPartition)
123 18:06 rehash 124 18:06 fink install xfree86 125 21:43 rehash 126 21:43 startx -- -quartz
(this gave the XCOMM error which I repaired by:)
128 21:46 sudo vi /usr/X11R6/bin/startx 129 21:47 startx -- -quartz
Btw, Fink Commander only shows an install from source for 4.3.0-14. No packages available?
