And you may have a little success on the one hand on the other not
but let's start at the beginning.

He's right believe me. Although I liked Apple's X11 it had some bad
errors for me as a german native speaker with a german keyboard and
a need for a working german keymap. So I changed to Xfree and
OroborOSX and my problems are gone and you do see a difference but
not that much and you have nearly all the options and more you have
in Apple's X11. Read the manual and see what you were missing in
Apple's X11 and how much easier OroborOSX is to configure and adding
programms to his startmenu is way easier then in Apple's X11.

I don't know I've asked a developer this question before and
although he did answer me, I installed all programms needed and got
through the configuration of them with him, read a dozen of
newsgroup articles on the same topic but I wasn't able to get
XRender working and the developer told me
on his system the non XRender support message never appeared with 1.0.3.

When I install the latest Version of OOo 1.1.0 for Mac OS X (It
still has some bugs but beside this it is stable and works fine for
me but not for the daily use and longer texts) the message isn't
shown and therefore I am totally confused, irritated and donnot
believe my own explaination above.

So I guess that either my old iMac DV G3 400 isn't able to
do XRender or it needs to be configured in a different way or
whatever. I would be glad to have a solution too so I hope someone
here can help the both of us.

No problem.

Feel free to also ask this question here:

Maybe you get an answer there.
