You mean /sw/fink/dists, perhaps? What did you delete? /sw/fink/dists is a symbolic link to one of the "real" directories /sw/fink/10.2-gcc3.3 or, on your case, /sw/fink/10.3. Did you delete the symolic link or really the contents of /sw/fink/10.3/?


What you have to do depends on the answers to these questions.

how to recreate it, in order to be able to access all the branches available. 'fink selfupdate' and 'fink update-all' don't seem to help.

"Don't seem to help" means what? What happens if you type "fink selfupdate"?


Mac OS X 10.3.1 w/ Fink Binary Installer
(All usage of fink has been through the 'fink' command.)
