Hello again Sara. As i tried to explain before, it seems there are real problems with getting shared libraries working for Imagemagick on OS X. You will encounter the same problems if you attempt to do this "by hand" rather than using fink.
Why do you need the shared libraries, if I may ask? For almost any purpose I can think of, the static libraries would do just fine.
