This looks indeed like your nameserver does not resolve the name
master.us.finkmirrors.net. Try at the command line

  nslookup master.us.finkmirrors.net

It should show you the address 204.152.184.200.
Maybe you can edit your file /sw/etc/fink.conf and put this numerical
address instead of the name in the line

Mirror-rsync: rsync://master.us.finkmirrors.net/finkinfo/

But chances are that you will have trouble later on, because Fink relies
on a network connection with a working nameserver.
