At the risk of beating a dead horse...
I tried today to report an ongoing dependency problem with gnome-panel (xml-parser-pm, if you're keeping score) but fink-gnome-core, the nominal maintainer, now only takes posts from subscribed people--and I don't feel like adding chatter that I'm only peripherally interested in, at best, to my mail load, so the problem may well not get fixed until enough people complain on -beginners and -users.
Yes, and I approved it. This is only temporary. You can stop beating now. =)
