[Fink-beginners] gnome-vfs2 and perl (?) problem

I have the following error when trying to update-all. can't seem to get past it!

checking for perl... /sw/bin/perl
configure: error: XML::Parser perl module is required for intltool
### execution of ./configure failed, exit code 1
Failed: compiling gnome-vfs2-2.4.2-5 failed

perl is in that directory.
