This must be due to the last tetex-update, for it used to work fine 
before that (I've used pdflatex since then).  It works fine with dvipdf, 
tthough, so it doesn't really bug me.

Anyway, abbbout that maybe-bug, what are you thinking of - in 
gnuplot or in Maxima? I'd like to try finding out what's wrong but I'm 
afraid I don't really know what to look for...
