I checked the FAQs and found there was a mention of updating gcc to version
3.3. I updated to the August 2003 Developer Tools and then ran /sw/lib/fink/
postinstall.pl to let Fink know about the gcc update. I ran fink selfupdate-
cvs and fink has started to update from 0.17-1 to 0.19-1 (other packages such
as base-files and cctools are also being built for install).

At this point, rather than wasting folks' time perhaps I should let folks know
if I'm having trouble after the selfupdate-cvs and an update-all finish.

Thank you,
Joel
