ok, I've just spent half the previuse night fighting with my fresh darwin install to play nice with fink. After finaly getting to bloody thing to source and rehash correctly, I find that fink is only seeing around 50 avalable packages. I'm rather put out by this, and any help would be nice. :D


(I'm on opendarwin 6.6.2)

I had a similar problem.

1. The solution for me was to make sure that the trees being downloaded were:
local/main stable/main stable/crypto local/bootstrap unstable/crypto unstable/main


2. run fink selfupdate

3. run fink index
