I haven't seen anything like this before. From the listing I don't see anything suspicious either, apart from the absence of the Archive.bom file.


I would suspect one of your tools, like Installer.app, /usr/bin/lsbom, /bin/pax, tar, gzip, etc. A vague advice could be: Check if any of this is left over from a previous version, if you haven't duplicate versions, like an Installer.app somewhere else than in /Applications/Utilities, suspicious stuff in /usr/local/bin etc. Sometimes a "ls -lt /bin" reveals old cruft.
