I thought that perhaps someone else has run into this problem,
I have been in communication with Alexander Hansen re: my attempts to upgrade to KDE3.2 He suggested that I also contact you.
I am running OS10.2.3 on a G4TiBook. I've updated Fink and several packages including some KDE as I tried updating bundle-kde to the latest unstable version an got some packages installed when the build hung up and I installed them separately.
In running the upgrade for bundle-kde I eventually got:
/usr/bin/install -d -m 755 /sw/src/root-kdebase3-shlibs-3.2.1-11/sw/lib/kde3
/bin/mv /sw/src/root-kdebase3-3.2.1-11/sw/lib/kde3/*randr*.so /sw/src/root-kdebase3-shlibs-3.2.1-11/sw/lib/kde3/
/bin/mv: rename /sw/src/root-kdebase3-3.2.1-11/sw/lib/kde3/*randr*.so to /sw/src/root-kdebase3-shlibs-3.2.1-11/sw/lib/kde3//*randr*.so: No such file or directory
### execution of /bin/mv failed, exit code 1
Failed: installing kdebase3-shlibs-3.2.1-11 failed

I tried updating kdebase3-shlibs-3.2.1-11 alone and got the same result (4 times). Alexander said that it is a compile problem and I have sent him the Terminal output for his review.
I was able to upgrade to the latest stable version but now when I try to use any app or run a KDE session I get:
DCOP: unregister 'kword-6035'
Bus error
[Brian-OKeefes-Computer:~] brianokeefe% DCOPServer : slotTerminate() -> sending terminateKDE signal.
klauncher: KLauncher::process ---> terminateKDE
Mutex destroy failure: Device busy
kdeinit: PID 6042 terminated.
kdeinit: terminate KDE.
DCOP: unregister 'klauncher'
DCOPServer : slotSuicide() -> exit.

kio (KDirWatch): Removed File /etc/fstab [KDirWatch-3]
kio (KDirWatch): Removed File /etc/mtab [KDirWatch-3]

Is there any help that you can provide me? I appreciate your time.
Thank you,
Brian
