Sure: if you removed it, it's not installed--bundle-kde is just a placeholder, so removing it doesn't keep anything from working.

Where to check for the 3.2 stuff depends on the method you've been using to install the packages: check in /sw/src for the sources, and you can also check if any of them are listed as "archived" in Fink Commander--these are built but not installed.

I am at this moment running KDE3.2 on XDarwin. Oddly, I had removed bundle-kde and it is currently not listed as installed. Is this strange? If I install KDE3.2 it seems weird since the version that I removed was 3.1. Should I run update kde? How can I find out if I really have the needed 3.2 packages to install already downloaded? I know some of the kde apps are 3.2 from the fink list.. I'm trying to avoid exacerbating the situation.
