when i click on the x-icon, x starts, but it runs the default window manager; when i type 'startkde' in a terminal window there, it starts kde, but kde runs 'inside' the default windowmanager, and not on itself (which is the idea of course) ..

any ideas how i could kde running when i click the x-icon? i did it before and it worked like a charm (my mac made a rather deep dive a couple of weeks ago), installed everything the exact same way as back then (well, appearantly not exactly) but i don't know what i'm doing wrong here..
