Hi,
I've got an old G3 imac and a new G4 iBook, both running OS X 10.3.3,
fink and unstable. I'm doing a lot of compilation (mainly of KDE) -
which is quite time consuming.
My question is, can I simply copy compiled apps from one computer to
the other? Does a G4 compiled package work on a G3 machine, and
vice-versa?
If not, how can I downoad the source just once, and set up one machine
as a mirror for the other?
Thanks,
john
