using FinkCommander v 0.5.3. I set up the .xinitrc file using the following syntax:
exec /sw/bin/gnome-session-real
and each of the following individually:
exec quartz-wm exec sawfish exec sawfish-wm exec gnome-session
and none of them work. I've gotten the following error(s) in my console:

Maybe someone else has figured this out and can help me get it right. I've looked at
the previous mailing list questions and none of them have given me an adequate answer.
Any help would be much appreciated.
PS I've used both rootless and non-rootless to the same effect....
