[Fink-beginners] gnome start up file missing

I  just upgraded and reinstalled gnome to 2.4.1 and ran selfupdate as 
well as fink update-all. Gnome will not start with the command 
gnome-session or gnome-session-real.  I have noticed that no file 
gnome-session or gnome-session-real exists in /sw/bin.  There are no 
error messages other than file does not exist.  Files that begin with 
gnome are:gnomine
gnomevfs-mkdir
gnomevfs-ls
gnomevfs-info
gnomevfs-copy
gnomevfs-mkdir
gnomevfs-ls
gnomevfs-info
gnomevfs-copy
gnomevfs-cat
gnometris
gnomecc
gnome_segv
gnome-xbill
gnome-vfs-config
gnome-stones
gnome-open
gnome-name-service
gnome-moz-remote
gnome-gen-mimedb
gnome-font-install
gnome-exe-handler
gnome-dump-metadata
gnome-config
gnome-bug
gnobots2
