Hi all,

This is probably a question for the users and not beginners but I haven't been able to graduate myself despite this little exploit. It is a simple install issue. I figured if Macworld would publish an article about installing KDE it had to be bomb proof. Using the unstable tree should have been a reality check.

I read the FAQ (and Macworld article) and used apt-get to get the unstable kde 3.2. I have tried installing it several times. It always fails as follows.

ld: warning prebinding disabled because dependent library: /sw/lib/libt1x.1.dylib is not prebound
ld: Undefined symbols:
_XpmReadFileToPixmap
make[1]: *** [xglyph] Error 1
make: *** [XXXX] Error 1
### execution of make failed, exit code 2
Failed: compiling t1lib1-1.3.1-2 failed

I'm not sure why t1lib1-1.3.1-2 would fail to make. Is it part of the unstable and not present on my PC?

Thanks,

Mark Wright
