Okay, I installed Mincom via Darwin Ports. It worked. I think what happened is I was running off Minicom unstable. Which made it work :P You could test it, I won't as I am happy with Minicom working :)

contact the package manager but have not yet gotten a response. I was
hoping the mailing list would be a bit faster as this needs to be fixed
by tomarrow. For those not in the know minicom -s is used to create a
config file.

I _had_ minicom working! I did a fresh install to get rid of a bunch
of
X11 problems and now it won't work. When I type minicom into the
command prompt it tells me there is no config file. When I type
minicom
-s or sudo minicom -s I get a blank line. Meanwhile Activity monitor
goes crazy as the minicom process takes up all additional CPU time.
I can suspend the program with control-Z. It isn't a lockfile problem
as
there is no lockfile created. I trashed the /sw/var/run and spool
folders in hopes it would force something. I reinstalled minicom (not
from source, complicated but I can tomarrow) and Fink. NowI am
emailing you!
I desperatly need this fixed for a job.
Thanks
Zach
