I used the command:
sudo chown -R brianokeefe ~/.qt

to change permissions so that I could smooth the fonts in KDE. Now I cannot run OpenOffice. I have always saved my session in KDE so that it starts automatically when I start an X11 session. Occasionally I needed to restart Ooo if I shut down and I would do so in rootless mode so that I could access it from OSX on the dock, then I'd log out and restart X11 in full screen and Ooo would start up. Now I cannot use that method either and I get a "Could not launch X window server: X11.app" error message.
Did running the above command mess me up?
I really need Ooo as most of my business is on it.
Thanks
Brian
