[Fink-beginners] how to install with open office os x GIMP 2.0 installed?

hi,

i just downloaded fink to install it and run with X11 on mac os x and XDarwin (installed to switchboot in another partition).

however, the read me file for fink 0.70 says not to run if i've installed open office os x's GIMP 2.0 installation (i assume that's because it installs oroborus, their alternative to apple's X11), then i can't install fink.

massive bummer, dood.

and it offers no suggestions or workarounds if i've already done this.

really, you should warn people ahead of time with this before downloading your software. it's only courteous.

anyway, i've been through your help files and documentation at your web site and not only is the same mention about not installing if you've installed open office os x GIMP 2.0 and oroborus not there, but it gives no workarounds or what to do. and on top of that, open office's GIMP 2.0 doesn't have an un-installer.

uh.... a little help here please? if i *have* installed open office os x's GIMP 2.0 & oroborus, what are my options to get fink on my machine here? please advise.
