Hi all. I want to share some of my fink packages (the ones that need to
be compiled first only) between my laptop and an old imac because the
laptop is a 1.2 GH and the imac is only a a 400 MH ; so i was hoping I
could compile it on my laptop and install onto the imac. What I think
I'd like the most is if i could use my firewire cable to connect the
two computers then basically cd to a folder somewhere in fink and dpkg
--install-prefix=/some/imac/folder or even make install
--install-prefix=/imac/folder. Is there something like this that would
work?
